I normally ride on those mountains in the distance. Today I rode on the road on this side. I hope they can repair my #mtb frame! #cycling #Helderberg (Taken with instagram)
Had an awesome #MTB ride this morning. Missing my friend @GregBeliever - I did the Wannabees Yellow Route through to Stellenbosch and back to Somerset West. 45km of paradise! Lord, I love your work!
This is the 8th photo from 365 days with my Leica M8 challenge.
This photo was taken on the 26th of July 2011. It is another sunset photo! I’ll need to start shooting something else soon. However, the light is just so good at this time of the day. This photograph is taken from the Firlands farm stall just off the N2 highway outside of my hometown, Somerset West in Cape Town. We have offices here. The photo was taken with my Leica M8 with a Voigtlander 50mm Color Skopar lens
This is the 7th photo from 365 days with my Leica M8 challenge.
This photo was taken on the 25th of July 2011. It is a photo of the sun set over Table Mountain taken from the Stellenbosch side. I saw this while I was driving home from a meeting at the University. I love the contrast between the orange and black. The photo was taken with my Leica M8 with a Voigtlander 50mm Color Skopar lens
This is the 6th photo from 365 days with my Leica M8 challenge.
This photo was taken on Lourensford Wine estate on the 24th of July 2011. It is a picture of the winter clouds rolling over the Helderberg mountains. It was a super cold, winter’s day! The sunset gave the clouds that beautiful orange color. The photo was taken with my Leica M8 with a Voigtlander 50mm Color Skopar lens
This is the 4th photo from 365 days with my Leica M8 challenge.
This photo was taken just outside of Somerset West on the 22nd of July 2011 - I know I have already uploaded one for the 22nd of July 2011. Unfortunately I had my dates wrong by a day. This is a picture of the clouds cresting over the Hottentots Holland mountains behind the Helderberg Nature reserve in Somerset West, Cape Town. The photo was taken about two blocks from my home on my way back from work. Beautiful! Taken with my Leica M8 with a Voigtlander 50mm Color Skopar lens
Leica D Lux 5 with electronic viewfinder - a perfect combination on Flickr.
A quick snapshot of my Leica D Lux 5 with the electronic viewfinder. Somehow my photos just seem more fun when I go out shooting through the viewfinder! I wish I could afford a Leica M8 or M9!
Awesome to be back on the #Helderberg #MTB trails! Beautiful! (Taken with instagram)
An awesome #MTB ride on the #Helderberg with my friend @GregBeliever! Otium Sanctum (Taken with instagram)
There are 2 crop-duster airplanes and 4 helicopters trying to put out the fire on the Helderberg Nature Reserve in Somerset West, Cape Town. High winds and dry vegetation are hampering their efforts.
