A very early #mtb ride. Spending the day with our new group of Masters students at Stellenbosch today. (Taken with instagram)
Take a look at this picture - I took it on a mountain bike ride just outside of Stellenbosch. I was riding along and saw what I thought was a pipe across the road. When it started moving I realized it was a snake! I think it is a Cobra, but I could be mistaken - it was about 1.5 meters long and puffed out as it rose. I sure am glad that I didn’t ride over it!
After I cracked the frame on my Mongoose #mtb I upgraded to this ‘bad boy’ ;-) (Taken with instagram)
I normally ride on those mountains in the distance. Today I rode on the road on this side. I hope they can repair my #mtb frame! #cycling #Helderberg (Taken with instagram)
